We Love the Ones that Won't Open Most

So, the years go by and we find a few doors and windows.

  1. I'm doing a lot of musing this weekend and this strikes me as well. Why do we always seem to want "more" instead of having the ability to enjoy what is here now. Especially as writers who constantly look back.

  2. Maybe that's our curse as writers, the constant reflection, the feeling comfort in nostalgia. I've been wondering about your very question, Jessie. Hopefully the answers seeking this questions are positive ones.

  3. Oh, isn't it the truth? A powerful and honest line, if I ever saw one.
